And for those interested in more detail:

Value Creation | It’s not about output or velocity. It’s about the value you are creating for your customers and that’s what I love to do.

Coaching | Mainly with regards to delivering and validating things quickly. I love coaching during a transition towards an agile way of working, being able to help an organisation deliver value to their customers and management to create the right environment for people and teams to be the best they can be.

Facilitating | Using Innovation Games, Game Storming, Art of Hosting, Management 3.0 and other techniques I help groups in their development and decision making proces.

Reading | I just love to read; business books, novels & some fantasy. It allows me to gain knowledge, learn about different perspectives and it triggers me to change myself & my environment. I keep an overview of my books on GoodReads.

Reviewing | Whether a project plan or a book, I love reviewing stuff. I’m a fast reader with a lot of different interests and love reading other people’s work and have a discussion with them. This is an overview of the books I have reviewed.

Connecting | I like to connect people and initiatives to help them achieve their goals. Active in several MeetUp groups and on social networks like Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook. At Rabobank an alumni member of the Rabobank Young Management program.

Traveling | One of the best hobbies in the world, it allows me to broaden my mind by experiencing other cultures. I visited quite a few countries in Europe, Afrika and Asia… South America and Antarctica are still on the wish list.

Africa | Ever since my first “round-trip” through Southern Africa (South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia) I’ve returned to Africa every year since and visited Marocco, Tunesia, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Mozambique… During one year (2008) I have even worked as a consultant in the last 3 countries… and since I go back so often, chances are South America and Antarctica will stay on the wish list for some more years….

Cooking | I just love good food. My favorite kitchens are: French, Italian and Japanese. There is no better evening than having discussions at the dinner table. If I don’t feel like preparing something myself, I love to visit these restaurants in Utrecht: De Goedheyd and

Photographing | A great way to capture what you see and experience. Combining traveling and photography is the best, and I know no better team to do this with than Marsel & Daniella from Squiver. You can see some of my work on Flickr.

Filming| I started filming in 2017 when we did a live report of the Legends Trails ultra running events. This hobby grew a little out of proportion when we decided to create a full feature documentary When Heroes Become Legends which can be viewed online for free.

Drone Flying | A great way to capture nature and the people connecting to it on film.
